7 days of garbage

This is powerful imagery with regards to our daily consumption portrayed by real people with their weekly garbage exposed. Photographer gregg segal wanted to portray the effects of our consumption on the environment. He states “Obviously, the series is guiding people toward a confrontation with the excess that is part of their lives. I’m hoping they recognize a lot of the garbage they produce is unnecessary”

I was raised on a farm in Zambia. My Dad comes from Kalix in Sweden and my mother from what used to be a small village outside of Lusaka. I first moved to Sweden to study business.   1. wow, verkligen efektfullt! Och jag tror att det skiljer sig enormt mycket mellan en familj i sverige (väst i stort) och en på landsbygden i zambia! Ska kolla in orginalbloggen.

    • Skulle vara intressant att se det ur ett Zambiskt perspektiv Elina. Kan inte du ordna det. Tänk dig- din familj, någon från Mulungushi byn och kanske någon av Lusaka familjerna??
