Almost upon us is the imminent release of Dragon’s Dogma 2 and many potential Arisen still have inquiries about the game.

Recently, the Reno Gazette Journal and USA Today Network spoke with Dragon’s Dogma 2 game director Hideaki Itsuno at Capcom’s U.S. headquarters in San Francisco to pose some queries about the forthcoming title.

Jason Hidalgo, Reno Gazette Journal/USAT Network: One of the most asked questions online revolves around the potential for 60 frames per second on consoles in Dragons Dogma 2. Will this feature be available?

Hideaki Itsuno, Capcom: In Dragon’s Dogma 2, we plan to offer uncapped frame rate performance set at 30 FPS or higher on consoles. While on PC, performance will be contingent on the machine’s specifications. Our aim for consoles is an uncapped frame rate of around or above 30 FPS.

RGJ/USAT: Does selecting either a human or Beastren character impact the narrative? Will there be multiple character slots or restricted to one character and one save file?

Itsuno: The core storyline remains consistent regardless of whether your main character is human or a Beastren. Yet, there will be variances in how your character progresses in the game and how other characters interact with your character based on whether your main character is human or Beastren.
