Physicians are now recommending a walking app as a new medical treatment

Strolling is the simplest form of physical activity, but it offers vast advantages. As our lifestyles become increasingly inactive, physicians are more frequently suggesting walks to address medical conditions and our overall health.

However, how can patients remain encouraged to continue? And how can physicians monitor their progress? This is where Lithuanian startup Walk15 comes into play.

Established in 2019, Walk15 is committed to involving people in physical activity. It delivers a platform and an application, which organizations and individuals can utilize to develop and take part in step challenges, utilize their steps to access exclusive discounts, and examine activity data.

The startup has assembled Lithuania’s most extensive fitness community, engaging with 20% of the nation’s population. It boasts over 625,000 application users worldwide, while 1,300 companies are utilizing its platform.
